Island of hvar and pakleni islands

One of the best known, and most glamorous tourist and destinations in the entire Mediterranean is certainly the island of Hvar. The party capital of the fourth Adriatic also serves as a favorite escape place for many tourists during the entire year, due to its rich culture and many offerings.

The town of Hvar is situated in a bay on the southwestern end of the island of Hvar. It is facing south, and the average annual sunshine is 2726 hours, and the maximum was reached in 2003 when it was 3053 hours. The average monthly sea temperature in the period from June to October exceeds 20 ° C, and it is not rare and the temperature reaches over 27 ° C. Just because of this mild Mediterranean climate, the island of Hvar is an ideal destination for both the front and the season, when sea and sea temperatures are ideal for vacation. Its richness and content are the result of numerous circumstances and advantages of Hvar, the most important of which is certainly the nautical position of the Hvar port. Namely, since the very beginning of sailing, the island of Hvar is at the center of the long and transverse shipping routes to the Adriatic, while the very harbor of the town of Hvar – protected by small islands and naturally exquisitely designed – has provided a safe shelter for ships from destructive winds. From the rich history of Hvar, the most important dates are listed below.

In the nearby aquatorium, there are several wrecks of sunken ships. In the Palmižana cove on Sveti Klement there is the same ACI marina. The vegetation cover of the island is largely made up of the Mediterranean flax of pomegranate, myrtle, pelin and spruce, and a smaller part of the low forests of Aleppo pine and some of the agricultural cultures. On the islands roses and rosemary grows, then cinnamon, chamomile, baby duck, fennel, laurel, and other aromatic Mediterranean plants.

On the island of Marinkovac there is a naturist beach Stipanska where Carpe diem beach is open, a wellness bath, equipped with comfortable wooden deckchairs and umbrellas, a swimming pool, a volleyball and diving school, as well as a restaurant and lounge and cocktail bar for relaxing moments. Besides the daily, Carpe Diem Beach in Stipanska bay also organizes very popular night-time parties, beach parties where the world famous DJs are present.
